Midwest Leather Works

Testimonials

I purchased an avenger style holster with double magazine pouch for my hi-power. There aren't many holsters around for hi-powers, so I've gotten by with 1911 holsters that have worked well. I just always wanted a nice belt holster that the gun deserved. The avenger is very well made. The leather is very good quality and construction is top notch. The tooling work is impeccable and very detailed. The leather was dyed exactly the way I had hoped and the holster and mag pouch are a wonderful matching set. Functionally, the holster holds the gun in tight to the body and conceals well with a light jacket. Retention is great. The canted magazine pouch makes indexing and removing the extra magazines like second nature. The most amazing part was the very fast turn-around for such a high quality product. I will definitely be buying from MWLW again.

Matt did an awesome job on my holster. Great workmanship and added touches that you can't buy in any store. There will be more of his holsters in my collection in the future.

Rec'd the holster for my HK UPS 9 from Matt the other day, and man is that kick ass. Everything was perfect. No play on the belt, quality was 120%, cant was perfect, so needless to say you won't go wrong with Midwest Leather with your holster purchase. Going to get another one for my Colt Officer. Why buy Calco or any other off the shelf holster when you can double the quality for half the price. Outstanding job Matt.

Top quality product, and the owner takes great pride in his work. I received a pancake holster for my XD40sc and Matt worked with me to get it set just the way I wanted it. Great folks to work with.

I was having a hard time finding a holster to fit my EMP when I saw some of Matt's work on the NFOA forum...... Picked up one of his OWB Avenger Models...... while he says this is not the most concealable model he offers, with a good stiff belt, the Avenger keeps my EMP high and tight enough to hide under a t-shirt, and worn at the 3 0'clock position, does not print when I bend at the waist. It is comfortable enough to wear all day at work- and I'm a flooring contractor, so those days can be long and hard. Great Stuff.
